This baked chicken breast recipe is a simple yet flavorful dish, featuring boneless, skinless chicken seasoned with herbs or Dijon mustard, perfect for a quick meal or leftovers.
INGREDIENTS

Olive Oil | 11/3 tbsp | |
Dried Herb | 11/3 tsp | Thyme, oregano, or basil, or substitute with Dijon mustard |
Dijon Mustard | 11/3 tbsp | If used instead of dried herb |
Salt | 2/3 tsp | Or to taste |
Pepper | Several grinds |
PRPEPARATION
- Drizzle olive oil inside a small baking dish.
- Place chicken breasts inside and sprinkle with salt & pepper and herb/spice or rub with dijon mustard.
- Bake at 375 °F (190 °C) for 15 minutes.
- Flip over, sprinkle/coat other side, and bake for another 15 minutes.
SUGGESTIONS
- Very simple chicken breast preparation, with a couple variations on flavor.
- Best served with vegetable sides or chopped over salads.
- You may increase the quantity to make some convenient leftovers.
