Description
This Turkey Kofte recipe features flavorful patties made from ground turkey and a blend of aromatic spices, perfect for serving alongside various sides or as satisfying leftovers in sandwiches.
INGREDIENTS

Bread Crumbs | 1/2 cup | |
Cumin | 1/2 tsp | |
Olive Oil | 2 tbsp | |
Onion | 1/3 cup | finely chopped |
Parsley | 1 tbsp | finely chopped |
Pepper | 1/4 tsp | |
Sage | 2 tbsp | minced |
Salt | 1/2 tsp | |
Sweet Paprika | 1/2 tsp | |
Thyme | 1 tsp | finely chopped |
Ground Turkey | 1 3/4 lb |
PREPARATION
- Place ground turkey in large bowl with bread crumbs, onion, parsley, sage, thyme, sweet paprika, salt and pepper and gently knead together until just combined
- With damp hands, gently form patties of about 1 inch thick and 3 inches in diameter
- Heat olive oil in cast iron skillet over medium-high heat
- Once oil is hot, place patties in skillet and cook on each side for about 4 minutes. Patties should be nicely browned on each side and no longer pink in the middle
SUGGESTIONS
- These kofte patties were incredible paired with sweet potato mash and roasted broccoli.
- We also enjoyed this next to a simple baked potato and spinach salad.
- We made sandwiches with them the next day with may, mustard and pickle and were in absolute heaven. These make incredibly satisfying leftovers.
