Description
This Provincial Chicken recipe combines tender chicken with flavorful spices and herbs, resulting in a deliciously grilled dish that serves four, perfect for any gathering or family dinner.
INGREDIENTS

Black Pepper | dash | |
Chicken | 2 2/3 lb | breast tenders or boneless skinless thighs |
Cumin | 1/3 tsp | |
Dijon Mustard | 5 1/3 tbsp | |
Garlic | 8 clove | finely chopped |
Herbs de Provence | 1 1/3 tsp | |
Lemon | 2/3 | fresh squeezed |
Olive Oil | 2/3 tbsp | |
Paprika | 2/3 tsp | |
Salt | 2/3 tsp |
PREPARATION
- Mix black pepper, white pepper, cumin, Dijon mustard, garlic, herbs de Provence, paprika and salt together.
- Mix together mustard spice mix with chicken in a large mixing bowl.
- Add lemon and olive oil and mix again.
- Heat your grill on high heat. Once the chicken has gotten its sear, reduce the grill to medium high heat. Grill chicken on BBQ until it reaches 165°F (74 °C) internally.
SUGGESTIONS
- You can use a mix of thighs and breast tenders to ensure everyone gets what they like.
- Make sure your grill is clean and HOT to get a nice browning on the marinade.
- Pair with a hearty pinot to bring out all of the flavors of the chicken.
