Description
These crispy kale chips are a delicious and healthy snack, made with a creamy cashew-based seasoning, perfect for satisfying cravings while providing essential nutrients.
INGREDIENTS

Kale | 2 bunch | stems removed and cut into big pieces |
Red Bell Pepper | 1 | core and seeds removed |
Cashews | 3/4 cup | soaked and drained |
Nutritional Yeast | 1/2 cup | |
Olive Oil | 2 tbsp | |
Garlic | 8 clove | minced |
Salt | ||
Pepper |
PREPARATION
- Combine pepper, cashews, garlic, olive oil, yeast and salt & pepper in a food processor and pulse until creamy, occasionally scraping sides.
- In a large bowl, pour cashew mixture over the kale and toss thoroughly.
- Lay kale pieces on dehydrator sheets, (or baking sheets if you don’t have a dehydrator).
- Set to 115°F (46 °C) for about 6 hours, or bake in the oven at 300°F (149 °C) for about 20 minutes, or until crisp.
- Store in a glass container with a tight-fitting lid.
