Description
This Crispy Prosciutto Green Beans recipe features tender green beans sautéed with Kalamata olives and lemon, topped with crispy prosciutto for a delightful and flavorful side dish.
INGREDIENTS

French Green Beans | 4/5 lb | cleaned and stemmed |
Kalamata Olives | 12 | pitted, chopped |
Lemon Juice | 1 1/5 tbsp | half lemon |
Lemon Zest | 2/5 tbsp | half lemon |
Prosciutto | 1 1/5 oz | |
Olive Oil | 4/5 tbsp | |
Salt | dash |
PREPARATION
- Preheat oven to 350 °F ( 177 °C).
- Place prosciutto on baking sheet and place in oven for 10 -15 minutes until crispy brown.
- Boil a pot of salted water, add green beans and cook for 2-3 minutes. Beans should be al dente.
- Drain beans into a colander.
- Add olive oil to a hot pan and add beans and pepper.
- Saute beans for 5 minutes and remove from pan.
- Add lemon juice and butter to the pan.
- Top beans with lemon zest and chopped Kalamata olives.
- Crumble prosciutto as a garnish for the dish and serve.
SUGGESTIONS
- If you prefer a more tender bean blanche the beans for slightly longer.
