Why is the protein target important?
Research shows protein is key for controlling hunger, especially during weight loss.
Scientists believe we evolved a specific appetite for protein, since amino acids are essential for life and historically scarce compared to fats and carbs. (Simpson et al, 2005)
Unfortunately, modern diets often "dilute" protein with excess fats and carbs, leading us to overeat to meet our protein needs. Clinical trials confirm this: participants eating 30% protein diets naturally consumed 441 fewer calories per day than those on 15% protein diets, leading to significant weight loss. How can I use the bot to calculate my protein target?

Steps
- Click on the button that says “My Protein Target.”
- Then, ask the bot, “Calculate my protein target.”
From there, the bot will ask you a series of relevant questions (height, weight, age, etc). From there, it will calculate your personal daily protein target, in both grams and Protein Units.
